With over 20 years of a career in Law, I currently work as the General Counsel to a Group of companies, with presence across Africa, Europe & the United States.

 

In the course of my work, I have also had the honour of advising the Nigerian House of Representatives on some of the current foundational legislations that under pin the Nigerian Oil & Gas Sector.

 

In addition to this, I have the privilege of running @owambecandles as its CEO and Head Chandler! Through our Candlemaking Workshop at Owambe Candles, I have taught over 50 Nigerian women to make a successful living making candles! I am proud to say, that with our Restoration Collection, Owambe Candles pioneered the use of hand blown glass in Candlemaking in Nigeria, creating a 2 pronged win-win approach; one by picking up discarded glass off the streets of Lagos, and by smelting that glass into beautiful hand blown jars which create value in themselves!

 

It is my desire to travel the globe, and go everywhere in the world once! At this point I have visited 23 countries and can’t wait to visit Paris & Cairo in 2023- I will be creating travel learning experiences so that you can come too!
